The Subscription Waitlists

Our subscriptions are not currently open to join. If you are interested in joining the subscription, please join the waitlist. When spots open up on the subscription, we will send invitations to those at the top of the waitlist. If spots are available, these invitations go out on the 6th of the month. Once you receive your invitation, you have 48 hours to purchase and join the subscription. If you decide not to purchase, or if your invitation has expired, you can always re-join the waitlist at any time.

The Subscription

Moonlight Book Box offers a subscription where we send out a new, custom designed book every single month.  On the 20th of each month we send our subscription reveal emails to announce what the next month's book is. You will also see our social media posts announcing the upcoming subscription book on the 20th of each month.

The email will also include information on which artists are featured, if we chose to do a ribbon bookmark, a slip case, or an interior overlay.  If you decide the book is for you, then you don't have to do anything at all as the subscription automatically charges on the 5th of each month and the book is shipped to you usually later that same week.

If you decide the book is not right for you, you can skip the book in your customer portal or by emailing us.  You can skip as many times as you want, but be cautious about consecutive skipping. If you skip three months in a row, you will receive a warning email. Though skips are unlimited, more than three consecutive skips will result in subscription cancellation. Our subscription waitlist is quite long and we try to get people off the waitlist as quickly as possible by opening spots left by those who don't make regular purchases.

Exclusive Editions

The other side of Moonlight Book Box is our exclusive edition/pre-order side.  We usually do about 6-10 exclusive editions each year.  The exclusive editions are often a complete series, or the continuation of a series we featured previously in our subscription.  These exclusive editions are often quite a bit more expensive as they include multiple books. Most important to note, these exclusive editions are pre-orders.  We announce and list these exclusive editions for sale about 6-8 months before they are ready to ship out.

When you are a subscriber, you get early access to our exclusive edition pre-orders. These exclusive edition pre-orders are separate from the subscription so there is no pressure to purchase these pre-orders to maintain your subscription.

Pre-orders are announced on our socials about one month before they go on sale so customers can plan ahead. Typically we will do a reveal the week before the sale goes live to show off the book designs and artwork inside. These exclusive editions are often very popular titles with incredible designs, and sell out quickly. Moonlight subscribers get early access and have the ability to purchase for 24 hours before they are available to the public. After early access concludes, any remaining stock of our exclusive editions will enter general access and be available to purchase by anyone.

The Moonlight Eclipse Subscription

Moonlight Book Box is excited to announce our new fantasy/sci-fi subscription starting in summer of 2027. This is not yet an active subscription, so more details will be announced as we approach the official start of this new subscription. 

This subscription will focus more on fantasy and science fiction that may contain some romantic sub-plots, though romance will not be a major focus. 

This subscription is a bi-monthly subscription; we will send one book every other month and you will only be billed on the month of the book release.

This subscription is limited to customers in the United States.  International customers will need to use a forwarding service.

Skipping on the Eclipse subscription is limited! Customers are allowed one skip with two consecutive skips resulting in subscription cancellation.
